ANGLO-SAXON

Anglo-saxons came to Britain from Denmark, NW Germany and North Holland. They were employed as mercenaries by teh Romans. (410 - Romanized Britain?)

Second half of the 5^th century turned against British and invaded.

Anglo-saxons are pagans, therefore lacking a Christian stimulus to their art.
