1000-961 The reign of King David. First in Judah for 7 years in Hebron, then conquers (unites) Canaan and rules Israel and Judah from Jerusalem for 33 years.

King Solomon. Written of in the Books of Samuel.
Then Hebrew kingdom splits. Prophet Amos.

5th Cent. One of the
two biblical stories of the process of creation is similar to an Akkadian epic.
The 2nd century account found in Genesis Chapter 7 is similar to Gilgamesh. Utnapishtim’s Tale of the
Flood.
168-165 Book of Daniel written while Jews attacked by Seleucid King Antiochus IV
Epiphanes (175-164). Four Beasts: Kingdoms of Babylon, Media, Persia and
Seleucid. 4th had 10 horns. Daniel’s vision of heathen 4th
beast being overcome by Hasidim, the Pious. One possible source of a messianic
concept.
This structure of the Ta Na Kh, Tanach or Tanak, is at least
as old as 2nd century BCE.
TORAH (LAW)
The First Five Books Given to Moses by God. Also called the Pentateuch. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

Joshua, Judges, Samuel 1 & 2, Kings 1 & 2, Isaiah,
Jeremiah, and the twelve prophets

Exodus is greek for departure.
Terah, Abraham, Sarah and Lot went to Canaan. Built town of Bethel and Hai. Famine, they go to Egypt. Abraham offered Sarah (beautiful) to the Pharoh so they would be welcomed. When the Pharoh discovered she was his wife, they were thrown out.
Jesus comes out of the wilderness and is baptised by John
in Jordan. He returns to Galilee, not to Nazareth, but rather Capernaum on the
Sea of Galilee. He meets Simon (Peter), Andrew (Simon’s brother) and James and
his brother John who are sons of Zebedee.
